Scott Larson

Senior Vice President, Legal and General Counsel, Terumo BCT

 

Mr. Larson is the Senior Vice President, Legal and General Counsel for Terumo BCT, Inc. (formerly known as CaridianBCT, Inc.). He has served in this capacity since 2007.  Terumo BCT is a global medical device manufacturer that provides blood and cellular technologies, services and solutions to blood centers, hospitals and apheresis centers, biotech and cell processing organizations and researchers. With global headquarters in Lakewood, Colorado, Terumo BCT operates manufacturing facilities in the U.S., China, India, Japan and Northern Ireland and serves customers in more than 120 countries and territories. Terumo BCT is a subsidiary of Terumo Corporation, a publicly traded company based in Tokyo, Japan.

 

Prior to joining Terumo BCT, Mr. Larson worked as a Senior Associate General Counsel for Amgen Inc. from 2005 to 2007. In that role he supported the commercial law function for Amgen’s Nephrology Business Unit and its Canadian operations. From 2002 through 2005, Mr. Larson served as General Counsel for Gambro Healthcare, Inc., a national provider of outpatient dialysis services.  From 1991 to 2001, Mr. Larson served in various positions within the Law Department at Coram Healthcare Corporation, with the last one being General Counsel. Mr. Larson began his career with Alston & Bird in Atlanta, Georgia.

 

Mr. Larson earned his J.D. from the Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1987 and his Bachelor of Arts from Augustana College (Illinois) in 1984.

Jim Wilson

Jim has 20 years of experience serving clients in life science, healthcare and technology-related industries. Jim is the director of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year program for the Mountain Desert region and has a history of working with emerging and growth companies. He has significant experience with public offerings and acquisition transactions as well as accounting and financial reporting topics relevant to life science companies, including research and development arrangements and equity transactions. Jim is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Colorado and Texas and has a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelors of Business Administration from Baylor University.

Alan Rudolph, Ph.D.

Dr. Alan S. Rudolph, is the Vice President for Research at Colorado State University. Dr. Rudolph is a former member of the Senior Executive Service, having served as the Director for Chemical and Biological Technologies Directorate, Research and Development Enterprise, Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Dr. Rudolph has had an active career in translating interdisciplinary life sciences into useful applications for biotechnology development. His experience spans basic research to advanced development in academia, government laboratories, and in the nonprofit and private sectors. He has a doctorate degree in zoology from the University of California at Davis and an MBA from George Washington University.

Mark Spiecker

Mr. Spiecker brings more than 15 years of high-level management experience to the company. He boasts a successful track record in corporate development, operations management, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic communications earned from positions at a number of high-profile companies.

 

Mr. Spiecker was director of restructuring and investor relations for Adelphia Communications Corporation which at the time was the nation’s fifth largest U.S. cable operator. Before joining Adelphia, he was responsible for client services and operations structure development at 360networks in the western United States and Canada. He developed experience in the product manufacturing industry as he managed human resources and process engineering for Louisiana-Pacific Corporation, a home building products manufacturer.

Holli Riebel

Holli Riebel keeps the Chamber and its four affiliates running smoothly and making it one of the best places in the Denver metro area to work as its chief operating officer. She also is building a strong future workforce by spearheading the Chamber’s work on the Denver Opportunity Youth Initiative. She oversees the organization’s $13 million budget – something that over 22 years of economic development work prepared her to manage. Holli came to the Chamber on her first “tour” as vice president of the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation. In that time she managed the coordination of over 60 metro Denver communities in the nine-county region and oversaw, the Colorado Space Coalition, the Colorado Energy Coalition and the U.S. Department of Labor’s Workforce Innovation and Regional Economic Development (WIRED) grant, a three-year, $15 million program that funded 26 organizations in creating public-private partnerships to create training programs for aerospace, bioscience, energy and IT industry sectors. Before her return to the Chamber, Holli served as president and CEO of the Colorado BioScience Association.
